Nearly
ten years ago,
the Lord prompted
Bob to switch
his focus from
the business
field to begin
to take care
of God’s business. This led him to the field of Christian education. In the Spring of 2004, Bob woke up in the middle of the night and penned the 40
Points of Grace which define the vision and personality of Grace Prep.
In a world of Christian schools with mediocre curriculum and underpaid teachers, Bob’s passion is to create a model that brings creativity, innovation, and academic excellence together with the resources necessary to prepare godly students to be world-changers. In three years, Grace Prep has done just that. • top of page •

As a State College native, Kathy has a special fondness for the town, but also has a great appreciation of the world at large. After graduating from Wheaton College with a B.S. in Biology, Kathy and her husband Matt headed for the mission field. During their 16 years in Papua New Guinea, Kathy taught 9th grade science and high school biology. Although Kathy loves being in a classroom full of kids, she feels some of her best experience teaching came from home schooling her four children for eight years. Grace Prep gives her the opportunity to work with a small group of kids combining the advantages of classroom teaching with the highly individualized attention emphasized in home schooling.
